WWII Era Royal Canadian Army Commando Radio Set - Wireless Remote Control Unit No. 1 - Nice Condition - VERY RARE.

This is the Canadian Wireless Remote Control Unit No. This set includes: the Wooden Storage/Carry box with Canvas Shoulder Strap, the Wireless Radion Set w/Tele-type Key, No. The wooden box has some weathering damage on one side. Normal chips and damage to the paint. Insulation is fraying on one of the power cords.

These small compact Wireless Radio Sets were carried by Canadian Troops in the early years of WWII. They were also use by Commando and French Resistance Units operating in Europe prior to the D-Day Invasion at Normandy. Note: this radio has not been tested and is not guaranteed to work. NOTE: this is a Heavy Item. This would make a great accessory to add to your WWII USMC Radio Gear Collection.
