RARE Vtg 1955 ZENITH Flash-Matic Gun 1ST WIRELESS TV REMOTE CONTROL with Box WORKS

Box has small wear & tear, and one torn flap. NO INSTRUCTION BOOKLET IS INCLUDED. It had two old alkaline batteries installed, and there was leakage and corrosion to the bottom battery and cap. There are no issues to the top battery area, and the mechanism & connections are clean. Cap was cleaned with baking soda, and it has tarnish to the outside.

The bottom cap discoloration is the only condition issue- if replaced with new, this would make the remote truly an investment-grade example. No tarnish is noted to the light cover ring, and what may appear to be any damage, gouges, or heavy scratching to the plastic is due to camera flash. Two new replacement batteries (which are not included) were inserted, and the bulb lights up in what appears to be a normal fashion when the "trigger" is depressed.
